Realize that "advice" from government agencies (FDA, etc) , corporations, national institutions, societies (ACS, etc), foundations (NSF,etc) and associations (AMA,ADA,ABA...) is money-driven, not altruistic except maybe on the lower levels. The same is true for international organzations, in general (CDC,WHO, WDA,etc). They exist only to maintain their own existence as a "control" to maintain the "status quo".
When lies pay better than truth, expect lies.
Cultivate healthy skepticism.
Beware of studies paid for by those with a vested interest in a controversial area that result in no change in status quo.
Beware of "advice" from institutions about a subject or problem that must continue to exist for the institution to exist. All research "studies" paid for can only be false science and a conflict of interest, [American Dental Association, American Cancer Society, National Science Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, American Epilepsy Society, etc ]. Entities who make money from a problem need the problem in order to continue to exist in this society.
Beware of "fox in charge of the henhouse" studies by any entities on themselves or their products, especially when concerned with safety or efficacy (effectiveness). All such studies are a conflict of interest and have no scientific or ethical validity. {Pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturers are an ideal example. Studies on fluoridation held up by proponents of fluoride, studies on aspartame by the manufacturer, etc}. All these studies are invalid, yet are held to be valid when presented to the unwitting gullible public who decide not to challenge them, find the holes in them relative to scientific method, take them to task, or establish what vested interests paid for or benefit from the studies.
Most allopathic physicians want to treat disease, on which the economics of their jobs depend, not promote health, which would put them out of the disease business. True physicians focus on preventative self-responsibility and the self-healing capabilities of the biological system. The others are "hacks" which should have been out of a job a long time ago. Most degenerative diseases today in society did not exist before the 19th century, but exist as a result of the basic paradigm governing technocratic society and the allopathic medical system.
Claims by allopathic sciences that "something will help you" are often the exact opposite. Aspirin is a good example. In the earlier part of this century, the Federal Trade Commission fined aspirin-makers for stating that "aspirin is good for the heart", when in fact the exact opposite was found to be true. Today, some forty years later, they figure people have forgotten about this. See it on television when Bayer [I.G, Farben derivative] does their commercials. It is both illegal (having already been ruled upon) and unethical, yet it is done anyway with no corporate conscience or liability, since the effects are separated from the cause by time.
Keep in mind that all real solutions to problems have a temporary existence, because the problem is solved. So, if a "problem solving" entity (American Cancer Society, MS Society, etc) has been around for a long time, they exist for their own benefit and have no interest in solving the problem - which would mean an end to their existence. They have no real credibility or validity relative to the original problem, or solving it, but only subsist for their own sake, pulling the wool over the eyes of a brain-damaged public who won't wake up and take them to task.
All national and local legislative bodies exist for their own sake and today are not representatives of the population at large as they pretend. Conflict of interest and corporate interests are intimately tied in with those who make the laws. Thus, most laws created are created not for the benefit of the population, but for corporate interests. When the United States first came into existence, there were only about four laws under common law, and everything functioned very well and people were honest. Now, the United States is also a Corporation, and there are hundreds of thousands of laws. Laws are not solutions to problems. Self-responsibility, which modern laws make no provision for, is the solution. Truly representative legislatures are staffed by common citizens having no vested interests. Today, legislators are paid by those they are to regulate, which is unethical and a conflict of interest, yet tolerated in a degenerate society.
