Until 1997 A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard had been Chairman of the investment bank A.B. Brown. A.B. Brown was acquired by Banker's Trust in 1997. Krongard then became, as part of the merger, Vice Chairman of Banker's Trust-AB Brown, one of 20 major U.S. banks named by Senator Carl Levin this year as being connected to money laundering. Krongard's last position at Banker's Trust (BT) was to oversee "private client relations." In this capacity he had direct hands-on relations with some of the wealthiest people in the world in a kind of specialized banking operation that has been identified by the U.S. Senate and other investigators as being closely connected to the laundering of drug money.

The Vaccine-Cancer Connection Resurfaces Many millions more people than previously thought might have been given polio vaccine contaminated with a monkey virus linked to cancer. It has been known since 1960 that early doses of polio vaccine were widely contaminated with simian virus 40, or SV40, which infects macaque monkeys. Tens of millions of people in the US and an unknown number in other countries, including the UK, Australia and the former Soviet Union, may have been exposed prior to 1963.The contamination occurred because the kidney cells the vaccine virus was grown in came from monkeys infected with SV40. Health officials say the problem was eliminated after 1963. Now Michele Carbone of Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago has announced results that suggest the Soviet polio vaccine was contaminated after 1963, possibly until the early 1980s. "Is there infectious virus? The short answer is, yes," Carbone told the Vaccine Cell Substrate Conference 2004 in Rockville, Maryland, in July 2004.

They claim to have a technology that will produce Hydrogen for fuel by vibrating water molecules at their resonant frequency. In this state the water becomes very unstable and can be broken down into hydrogen and oxygen using only a small amount of energy. The main byproducts of the combustion are water and oxygen. No greenhouse gasses are emitted.

Biological Anomalous Event: 28,000 Adult Pelicans Fly Away, Leave Chicks and Eggs (Article) The 4,385-acre Chase Lake Refuge in central North Dakota had been known as the home of the largest nesting colony of white pelicans in North America. The nearly 28,000 white pelicans that unexpectedly left Chase Lake Refuge, ND are still unaccounted for and nowhere to be found. Normally the birds stay in the refuge until September, but for some reason all the adults decided to leave the area which they had used for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years, leaving their eggs and chicks behind.
Wildlife officials have considered diseases, food supply, water quality, weather, predators and other factors, but have found no satisfactory explanation for the exodus, said Mick Erickson, the Chase Lake refuge manager.
"Right now, everybody has an opinion," Erickson said. "But honestly, there isn't any explanation. This is the first time it's happened."
Pelicans have been monitored since 1905, the birds only numbered 50 then because they were killed for their feathers and for target practice. It was in 1908 that president Theodore Roosevelt designated the site a bird refuge, since then it has become the largest nesting colony of white pelicans in North America. Biological Anomalous Event: 1500 of 2000 Homing Pigeons Lost During Race in Sweden 7/23/04 (AP) STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) - Organizers of a race for homing pigeons were still scratching their heads in wonder Thursday after about 1,500 of the birds, famous for their ability to find their way home, went missing during the contest.
Of the 2,000 pigeons let loose last week, only about 500 have returned to their lofts after the 150-kilometer (93 mile) flight between the cities of Ljungby and Malmoe in southern Sweden, said Lars-Aake Nilsson of the Malmoe Homing Pigeon Club.
"The weather was perfect - no rain, no thunder and no strong winds," he said.
In past races, the birds, all of which sport electronic identification tags around their feet, made the journey in about two hours.
"I have worked with pigeons since 1960 and have never experienced anything like this," Nilsson said, adding that the birds might have been thrown off course by subtle changes in the earth's magnetic field.
The pigeons have a natural homing instinct and are believed to navigate by the sun and the magnetic waves of the earth, Nilsson said. "And even though some are lost to hawks or hazards like power lines along the way, many more should have made it back home. It's a mystery," he added. He said there have been no reported sightings of the missing birds anywhere in southern Sweden. He declined to say how much the birds were worth. "It's not so much the economic value as it is a loss to the sport," Nilsson said. "It takes about two years to breed a racing pigeon."
